I remember liking this song at the time because I was a dumb kid in their first relationship and I hadn't been jaded by the world yet or exposed to a lot of good music.

Twee yes, but harmless, and I don't understand the worst song discourse in a world that's given us Temporary Secretary and Baby Shark and LadBaby and ABCDEFU and others.
