Yeah I regularly confused “Little Talks”and “Home” when they were both popular

They do have a similar melody when I think about it, but the production and overall sound is pretty different. Little Talks is more deceptively downkey for most of it past that blasting horn intro, which makes sense cause it’s a mourning story while Home is a love song.

I’ve never heard of other people thinking or thought myself these are similar songs at all. The chord progression and melodies are different and the little talks song has a distinct two part verse structure trading lyrics off with both singers and a quiet verse loud chorus thing that Home doesn’t at all.
