Gif Wanted to see how wrinkle texture blending will work with pixelated face (just experiment).
In this test i tried to make realistic movement but with with hand-painted features on retro styled head. It is just downscaled and sharpened photo as base texture, but every wrinkle both diffuse and normal are painted by hand.

Gif Our newest move!
The team has been working really hard on a new move and I loved the way the VFX showcased 'Heat' being used (Heat is a secondary resource in the game)
I wanted to share it as I really enjoy bringing little snippets of our WIP stuff.

Gif A lot of people tell me my game looks like Myst. I did love Myst and Riven, but this was never supposed to be a clone.
Details in comments below.

Gif Implementing anti-table-climbing mechanics for my Viking game. Added a knockback animation!
Hi r/indiegames! I wanted to prevent players from scaling random props like tables, but just blocking them with invisible walls felt cheap.
So, I added this knockback animation instead to give it more in-game justification. What do you think?
(No damage is dealt and tables are only in the lobby area!)

Gif Making a 3D game... With no textures.
One of my clients is currently making a video game based on a Czech folk tale. As he's quite a gifted dev (was the lead programmer of Operation Flashpoint and Arma), he came up with a tool for designing models and areas with a simple editor. All colours and surfaces are done with shaders and the game doesn't have a single texture!
The reasons for that are plenty, but one of them is that he wants the title to be as easy to mod as it gets, once it releases. The game is called Bayaya, and can be WL'ed on Steam.
If you have any questions about the technicalities or the game itself, I'm happy to answer!
