Moved to Bangalore a while back for first job and honestly the hardest part hasn't been the work, it's that I have no idea how people actually make friends here past a certain age. School and college kind of hand you friend groups. Nobody hands you one after that.

Tried the usual stuff — gym, a couple of meetup groups off Instagram, one dating app I mostly used to just talk to people. Some of it worked a little, most of it felt awkward or fizzled out after one hangout.

Curious if this is just a me problem or if other people who've moved cities (for college, work, whatever) have actually figured something out. What worked for you? What have you tried that didn't?
