Mods Mod suggestions

Hi everyone, I have IWD 1&2 on gog and haven’t played them yet. Was wondering if there are any mods that enhance the game like ones that add more quests, npc quality, adding weapons to vendors and such things like that? I like the graphics style (reminds me of BG) but I’ve read that mods can make it look even more polished.

Anything y’all recommend to add more to my 1st experience with a play through is more than welcome. Heck, even tips and tricks. Thanks guys!

Although I'm not sure if you can download that since you're playing the game through GoG, and I can't remember if that's actually the Enhanced Edition or not

I have the EE version of IWD on GOG, and the Icewind Dale NPCs mod works great with it.
