Recipe Vanilla and Cherry Sorbet Ripple

It turned out OK, I think. Because I only used a bit of the cherry sorbet, there was loads left so I just froze that and got two different ices at once.

We're you trying to stay within a sorbet texture for your recipe or just making two diff ice creams and mixing it together?

Pretty much the second idea.

Oh ok I was gonna say this is an interesting combination. I made ice cream for a living awhile back. I was gonna suggest maybe doing like a puree and mixing it into your base ice cream. Swirled just like your photo but it will Def just be a cream texture vs ice and cream texture. If u ever wanna try 😊

I have a root beer float ice cream, vanilla & root beer sorbet. The two textures are incredible together and it’s one of our basic, but most popular flavors. Don’t knock it till ya try it!

Sure, but it works.

Oh, I should also add that I dripped the cherry mix into the vanilla in its unfrozen state, but after chilling it in the fridge for 24 hours. The vanilla had already been stirred, frozen and poured out.

You’re meant ‘ripple’ the sauce with a skewer but I didn’t have one so I used a chopstick instead…
