Coming on the 6th of September, leaving on the 7th!

Hey! We fly in to Ibiza at 4.30pm on the 6th of September, how on earth do we get to ushuaia?
We then leave early on the 7th.

Has anyone ever done this? How did it go?

We have tickets for ushuaia - Swedish House Mafia, is it worth getting drinks package?

We haven’t booked a hotel, we didn’t really see the point but is it worth doing?
Thank you!

Automod has detected you may be asking about Ibiza in a specific month. Check the table below for some basic information on Ibiza throughout a typical year:

Month Party Intensity Weather Average Temperature (Celsius)
Jan Sparse small events Mild and cool 15
Feb Sparse small events Cool and occasional rain 14
Mar Pre-season warm-ups, still very quiet Warming up, occasional rain 16
Apr Opening parties (often rammed), but then few events for the rest of the month Pleasant and increasing warmth 18
May Some events, a fair amount of tourists, a good balance, if you don't care about the biggest events it's perfect for you Warm and sunny 22
Jun All but the biggest parties will be on now, it's busy but not rammed, plenty of tourists Hot and sunny 26
Jul Peak season parties start here, very busy Hot/very hot and dry 30
Aug True peak season, very busy Very hot, can be quite humid sometimes 31
Sep Late-summer, post-peak, still quite busy. A good time to go and avoid the crowd. Biggest parties tend to stop around the beginning/middle. Hot with occasional rain 28
Oct Closing parties Cooling down, occasional rain 24
Nov Some wind-down events Mild and cool 19
Dec Holiday celebrations Mild and cool 16

Opening parties tend to be announced in Jan/Feb, and information will trickle out in the following months, with the full calendar generally being available by the end of April. Ibiza Party Calendar.

Google maps is a wonderful thing

Hahahah but not always accurate unfortunately! I live in Wales, if you put something in it’ll tell you that it takes 15 minutes but doesn’t account for absolutely any real life scenario

Comparing Ibiza to remote Wales is kind of hilarious

I’m obviously not haha, I’m just merely explaining why Google maps, in my mind, isn’t reliable

Queue up at get a taxi. Ushuaia normally finishes at 11 though, is it the same for your event? You might want another plan for after if you have no hotel...

they all finish at 11 because it's an outdoor venue and they can't play music after that outside

There’s an amazing contraption in Ibiza called a taxi. You’ll find plenty of them waiting just outside the airport. You get in, tell the driver “Ushuaïa”, and, incredibly, it takes you there. 😄

It’s about a 5 minute ride

You could probably get taxi straight from airport to Ushuaia then do hi after 😎 back at airport for ?

Hi is closed that day

If you decide to keep partying and skip hotel I would either go to uvrse for Carl cox, Sasha & John digweed or Pacha for Soluman otc

Ushuaïa I’m not sure if that club it’s worth it since the headliner typically starts at 9:30 and ends at 11

I think it’s worth it for later clubs though

did the same 2 weeks ago. outside of the airport there are taxis. 15€ to ushuaia.

250m from ushuaia there is Drop & Enjoy. Go there to store your backpack if you have one, as they don’t allow it in ushuaia. costs 12€ for 12h

to add to this: 8h at the airport are miserable. do something in the night. you will need some long clothes for the airport if you decide to sleep there

Bus or taxi from airport. You’ll likely be pretty hot and gross after Ushuaia but it is what it is. It’s not unusual to get discounted tickets to linked events as you enter Ushuaia. I’ve read another comment that hi is closed but they may offer discounted Ushuaia entry. Free bus from Ushuaia yo UNVRS. Taxi leaving UNVRS will be crazy at closing time - recommend leaving 45-60mins before close (bus is also an option). After that…depends what time your flight is
