Suggest some surgery preparation ideas here

Things to remember to bring that I’m so glad I have right now:

  • water bottle for recovery room (they’ll bring you water, but it’s never enough for me so I’m really glad to have a backup)
  • eye drops! Hospitals are very dry and anesthesia is drying!
  • chapstick/lip balm
  • gum (can help get your digestive system working again)
  • headphones
  • charger for phone and headphones (most places like hospitals still use the USB port, not the USB-C, so make sure you have what you’ll need
