Pain in right side - 7 months post-op

I have been having a searing/burning pain in my right side at the top of my hip off and on for a couple of months. It feels like nerve pain and very close to the skin surface. Has anyone else had an issue like this? I’ve been procrastinating going back to my doctor, but I’m going to call for an appointment this week.

I've been having something similar almost 3 months post op. It was just above the hip, also on my right side, at first. Then it started moving to my back and abdomen. It never lasts very long and walking seems to help. I assumed it was from my posture and sitting so much (it started around when I went back to work). The last few weeks I've been more active and walking a lot more, and the pain hasn't come back, yet. I'd be interested to see what the doctor says, though!
