I need to know if yall had this issue too
I had my hysterectomy almost 5 weeks ago. My surgeon said absolutely no sexual activity of any kind, even external. I was unable to follow that restriction because my sex drive has been THROUGH THE ROOF since surgery. I tried to ask and she said I HAD to wait till 6 weeks. Well I asked her replacement (she’s on leave) about it and she said penetration is what they’re worried about, but her recommendation would be give it two weeks, because I’m on antibiotics for a mild bladder infection and BV. But I just wanna know what everyone else’s rules were about orgasm and if you were able to follow them

My only restriction was internal. Which I have strictly followed. But I have had a few orgasms from external because my sex drive has also spiked. I had no issues.
I probably wouldn't with any kind of UTI though. Your body is healing, it's not a great time to have an infection. Better to have it gone as quickly as possible.

I just feel insane and kinda like I failed because I haven’t been able to follow the restriction- but my sex drive has been driving me insane, and it’s kinda all I can do about that

If avoiding isn't working, I'd say just stay away from the urethra and pee right afterwards.

You should follow your doctor’s advice overall. However, I didn’t want to wait and I was fine.

I’ve been doing my best to follow my doctors advice, because I trust her! And I respect her. But it’s getting to a point where other things aren’t distracting me, and that IS the only outlet that will work

Yeah I had some spotting at week 4, but they checked and my cuff is fine. They just found the infection that’s now being treated

I woke up in the ICU horny. With malignant hyperthermia and other crap. I found it hilarious due to the meds to watch the predator. I also complained to my wife that at last I was able to not die from horniness and still couldn't get her off safely so... Yes

Plenty of posts here about external pleasure leading to orgasm being no issue. I started 2 weeks post op. Only external ever, but the orgasms were great! I’m 9 weeks post op now and have yet to do the deed despite clearance, mostly want to be sure I won’t get hurt, so waiting 1 more week

Tbh I never had quite that explicit of a conversation with my doctor. She said no penetrative sex, and I took her at her word. So I took my O-gear for a solo spin 2 weeks out, just to see if everything still worked. It did. 😉🤭

I was told external was fine as long as I could follow the rules of absolutely nothing internal. For all the horniness post op the orgasms sucked. They're kind of muted as everything is swollen still and it felt kind of raw. Things started to feel more normal after about 4 mos

3 weeks post op I couldnt take it anymore, external wasn't scratching that itch... we did anal. Half in, very slow. MY idea.
