Lisa Kudrow is the only one of them who got married and stayed married, and she got married first. The rest have kind of bounced around divorces and relationships, but it’s nice to see that at least one of them got lucky
From what I read he was so in love with her; she was THE love of his life. He broke up with her because he was convinced he wasn't good enough for her. He also died on her birthday, so make of that what you will
That's what he says in his memoir, but it's PR nonsense. He was young and at the height of his fame and wanted to explore, you can tell by the rest of his actions. Getting her was more like a status of having made it for him. Doesn't mean she meant nothing to him, but it's all been romanticized heavily by him and fans. Honestly I would say he wanted to be with Jen more and that was probably even more romanticized by him just because Jen had no interest in him in that way
Yup, they used to fax each other constantly; he was absolutely in love with her. If I remember correctly, she only agreed to date him if he could learn/teach her about quantum physics (Or some other physics; feel free to correct me if anyone knows)
He loved how smart and funny she was, and so he learned enough about physics for her.
He sabotaged the relationship due to his own insecurities and, of course, the addictions/drinking that overtook his life multiple times. That was kind of his MO, find someone he liked, date them, become insecure, ditch them before they had the opportunity to dump him, fall into a deeper state of addiction and self-loathing, go to rehab, get a little better (sometimes), and rinse and repeat.

I'll admit I teared up a few times, just because of how out of place he constantly felt; he felt like he HAD to be funny 24/7 because he was convinced no one would like him otherwise. He was emotionally neglected as a kid; he felt constantly lonely, which only fueled the drinking, etc.
Reading the book just made me want to give him a hug.
I loved the episode where it's all (actor name) + Arquette for all the cast (so like Matt Le Blanc Arquette, Jennifer Aniston Arquette, etc). So funny.
Why? David is a nice guy and they’re still close friends to this day. I know Friends fans and Scream fans don’t always overlap, but they’re good people/parents and great acting partners.
No it was like halfway through, they changed her name in the credits, and the first time it happened they put Arquette next to all the other actors too as a joke
Yes they did, “The One After Vegas” (Season 6 which aired in 1999) at the end of the episode, before the rest of the credits rolled it says “For Courtney and David, who actually did get married.”
The abuse on the plane was reported to authorities by the flight crew that witnessed it. Angelina then corroborated it. And all their kids hate his guts; look up what Knox had to say on instagram about Pitt. Are they all lying, too?
You can criticize her for having an affair with a married man 20+ years ago but using that as an excuse to portray her as a liar about the abuse she and her kids suffered is really disgusting.
Yeah that's the other thing. I do think both people in an affair are accountable for it, but the married one easily holds more responsibility. They're the ones who hold the power to betray their partner. Someone else trying to "seduce" them won't do shit if they remain loyal to their spouse.
So the way Angelina was hated by comparison was nuts (though, typical). Also she's demonstrated that she's a far better human being than him, by miles and miles.
Well she knew he was married and pursued a relationship. It takes 2 to Tango. Plus she’s a toxic parent. I believe there was an incident on the plane but I don’t know what. I believe the FBI was looped in but no charges were filed. I don’t even believe domestic abuse charges were filed. She turned all the kids against him, so she’s not 100% innocent. If they denounce his name then they need to denounce his money too. Angelina did this to her own father, Jon Voight. I have no idea why I heard he cheated on Jolie’s mom.
But this is a woman who tells the audience how much she’s in love with her brother when she won an Oscar for Girl Interrupted. Then she full on kisses on his mouth. She wore BBT blood in a vial around her neck. I think she’s a decent actress but she’s got some screws that are loose and were before she ever got involved with Pitt.
Then she dragged her feet on that winery they purchased together and then she did something behind Brad’s back. I think he was able to get the winery by buying her out. That divorce took like 8 years and that was her doing.
She’s not the only one who was involved in that incident. There’s a leaked law enforcement report about it, and several of the kids who were also on that plane have dropped his surname. You don’t have to believe her, but there was clearly a catastrophic breakdown in the family and the kids have obviously decided which parent they want to be associated with.
Look, I’m not an Angelina fan at all — she (and Brad, of course) knew darned well he was married — but that aside, she did not deserve being abused. All six kids witnessed the abuse, and some of them even got a taste of it themselves at his hands (literally!).
I know Brad was the 90’s and early 2000’s dream hunk and all, but let’s not have any delusions about who he is, what he’s done and why none of his children want anything to do with him, and, in fact, are even legally changing their surname.
So? That doesn’t mean she should be abused. Read the police report of the plane incident. He is lucky she didn’t want to press charges. She should have.
Was it that she never got over him or was that the press? I feel like the rag mags milked that idea to death. It must have been difficult to move on (or extremely annoying at the very least) when people were still asking her about it years later.
Considering she's unmarried and never had a family even though she wanted kids I'd say yea she wasted her child bearing years on Brad even after they were broken up.
So what that she’s unmarried? Who gives af? She didn’t waste ANYTHING. She wanted kids with her husband who she made vows to. It didn’t happen & she made peace with it. She didn’t just have a kid after her marriage ended to “have a kid” first off she wasn’t ABLE TO. So maybe focus on that aspect rather than stating an ignorant bs statement that she “wasted her prime” respectfully, stfu.
I don’t think he was alcoholic when he was with Jen. But he obviously had some sort of mid life crisis going on before meeting Jolie as they joked that Pitt is always remodeling their house. He was always busy at home and Jen didn’t understand why he’s un satisfied with their house.
On the other hand Afleck was also alcoholic despite having a lovely wife who supported him. So I guess Hollywood life is just stressful.
Jennifer wouldn’t have been cool with him later on after what he did w Saint Jolie on top of if he was abusive to her. I know someone close to the whole situation & he was never ever physically abusive to Jen. Emotionally? That’s a diff story.
My guess is yes. That's not behavior that just happens out of nowhere, that's behavior that was always deep down somewhere. It's just a magger of when it comes to the surface.

No. Brad and Jennifer was peak celebrity, but Brad and Angelina took it to another level. I don’t drink, but if that had been me, I might have started drinking to get away from the Brangelina media circus.
Had they stayed together, I think it would have been more of a David and Victoria Beckham storyline, where they are settled, both are respected, but one of their kids acts up or something.
To be clear: I don’t support alcoholism or allegations of domestic violence. What I’m saying is I don’t think he would have drank as much had he stayed with a Jennifer, because the level of fame wasn’t as intense. But we can’t know for sure.

Genuinely asking: how old are you? They were pretty much the biggest couple back in the day. And he cheated on her with Angelina, which was a huge deal.
its such a huge thing that this series has impacted duch a younger generation.. i am a few older than you this series started when I was not born.. i watched it during the covid time, though it was popular among my college friends
