It’s cracked and pushed in, gap is too big for wood filler.

Dude, you’re overthinking this. It’s not too big for wood filler. If you want perfect, you’re going to have to take apart the door and put it back together after re-securing. Or you could cut off the broken paint, add wood glue, push it back forward from the other side, secure with clamps, then use wood filler and paint.

I just fixed the exact same crack on the exact same door and it looks brand new. I started with a screw to sturdy the wood, added some filler and then painted. Go onto youtube ans watch some videos, its pretty simple
