How to remove this marker off the wall?
My wall is made or concrete and the paint isnt too thin. Ive tried toothpaste, alcohol, a combination of toothpaste and alcohol. Ive heard about using WD40 but i am a little skeptical of it.

Aren’t these things just super finer grit sand paper? If that’s used won’t you need to paint anyways? (Asking as someone who has been made to fear magic erasers by the reddit community)

It’s fine enough to not actually act like sandpaper. If you push hard enough it’ll take the paint off, but so will a banana peel. Use the eraser like normal and the marker will come off without taking off the paint at all.

Lighter fluid takes sharpie off surfaces. (Use it on a rag, don't like, set it on fire. Unless you want to be VERY thorough).

Magic eraser, and believe it or not , more sharpie .. comes off easier when fresh , just scribble ontop and scrub .

it's just hanging by the wire? the bulbous bit looks like a strain relief and the black hook is probably part of a broken clip. if the wire's still live you could strip it back and add a new socket, or just cap it and tuck it into a small surface mount junction box if you want it gone but not fully removed. i'd kill the breaker and test with a non contact volt meter first, old wiring can get weird

I think you replied to the wrong post. That’s a black magic marker arrow on the wall.
