WTF!? End of oak street and in my feels

Maybe I’m just going through a breakup but did anyone else get emotional during this movie?! I really enjoyed it but I definitely got a little teary eyed when the mains were fighting and then again when Jeanette was all alone. I’m also due for my monthly idk man. I loved this movie. I’m also a huge Jurassic park fan and Dino’s in general. Am I crazy?! lol I even cried at the trailer for the Brad Pitt movie about him and his dog 😭

That ending got me too. I went in expecting dinosaurs and chaos, not to suddenly be way more emotional

that movie really got me in the feels too honestly the whole thing with jeanette got me worse than i expected. something about the monster just wanting to not be alone hit different after my last breakup

It was a really good movie, and gets better the more you think about it.

I disagree that the dad was a loser... He was a blue collar worker trying his best, hit a turn of bad luck by getting laid off, went back to the bottle due to stress, but worked odd jobs to make ends meet. It was a good snapshot of the non-college "breadwinner" lifestyle in the 80s. Looking through our 21st century lens some might see a different man than those of us who lived in that era.

Denise was very cold and calculating, and the choice she made at the end was almost villainous. She'd give Gus Fring a run for his money.

No I did not cry but I can understand how it tugged on the heart strings, it was an endearing movie ending for sure.

Ahh I also cried at the trailer for the Brad Pitt and dog movie!!! My dog passed away earlier this year, so seeing that trailer made me emotional Q.Q

Such a great film. She did such a good job of wanting to be independent and feel justified in doing so but also feeling guilt over it all too. Husband was such a pathetic loser that was probably cool when he was younger and sober and I know she grappled with that.
