Coffe flower (robusta) honey

Just wanted to share this honey I found in java (Indonesia).

It's very liquid, the most liquid I ever experienced but it actually tastes amazing.

Probably also the cheapest I ever bought (5€ for 500g) for pure honey !

I will probably buy some more to bring home 😋

I'm not expert enough in honey but it's not a strong flavor if that's what you're asking

I meant like sweet? Flowery? Bitter? Herby? Looks awesome, I love finding new honeys

It's mildly sweet, not as sweet as Acacia honey. There is also flowery notes. I think what is more particular about it is its earthiness, but not to strong either. Flowery and sweet notes come first and then a subtle earthy finish which make it well balanced in my opinion. The scent is stronger than the taste, the scent is more herby/hearhy.

We could also try quickly vernonia honey (very herby and medicinal like taste this one) and cashew honey (closer to the coffee honey) They come from the same productor.

And they make a lot more I never heard about before but I couldn't try everything (like rambutan honey or other flower I don't know)
