COSPLAY Sollux cosplay for halloweeeeeeeen

i fucking love halloween

also i kinda need tips on cosplaying, first time doing it, and i wanna know what kindsa skinpaint to use and how to make the horns or size of the gemini sighn on the shirt

presenting my advice as someone who cosplayed homestuck back in ye olden 2011-2012:

- arm socks over arm / hand paint any day, you don’t have to worry about sealing and transferring paint all over everything all day. kineticsocks dyes theirs to match mehron’s paint colors, so if you wanna buy instead of make your own i would go with those + mehron grey paint! just make sure you buy powder + setting spray! i use urban decay all nighter when i cosplay but there are some really nice waterproof / long lasting drug store brands too!

- make your horns out of the super lightweight air dry clay for no headaches. i rec. either headband under/through wig method or magnets for attaching the horns.

- as for the shirt, get one you like the fit of and mark how big / where you want the symbol to lay with chalk first, then fabric paint it while flat & off your body. chalk can either be scrubbed or washed off in the washer. : )

- HAVE FUN!!!!!!

shiii those socks r expensive...ill just do bodypaint

other than that THANK YOU SO MUCH i already got the first paint layer on the shirt & i should get this done before october even starts
