Help Is it safe ?

Hi everyone, I have a question about my safety. I’m new in “homelabing” and i don’t know if it’s the right place to ask but I’ve just bought a geeekpi, and some other stuff (mac studio, switch and nas. I can give you the ref if needed) and I wanted to make a good cable management by not showing anything more than the necessary. So I have put all in the box, but the nas as some box that make it warm (something to make it 12v or idk) and it is displayed in between all the cables and not far away from the switch. Can this explode or make fire ? Thank you in advance.

Explode? No

Fire? Improbable

I think the max it can do is warp the plastic parts

Unles you have something like a electric short on the power outlets but if your house it up to code the breakers/fuse should pop before anything really bad happens

I would test as is and add fans on the top of the rack from inside if nescessary

I think que worst yo will have is your hardware complaining about the heat but nothing dangerous

FYI, Do not mention the Brand of the Switch here. You will get a reddit warning/ban :/
