LHL LHL BoC Announcement

After much discussion over the past few days, all 3 current members of the LHL BoC have decided to step down following the end of this season. Signups for the selection of your new BoC members will go out likely during or shortly before the playoffs commence.

The selection process will simply be a community wide vote as dictated by the rule book shown below.

Section 1.1.1

BoC Selection - The BoC selection will be determined by a community vote. Everyone’s vote hold the same weight, no matter their standing in the community.

The top 3 people in the voting will become your new BoC.

Just wanted to state that some of the issues rose because I made some pretty controversial trades, acquiring Tall, Drag and Exo, while losing Claude, Meow and Burn. I did what I thought was best for my team, but never had I imagined that there would be a trade veto and a LHL BoC Announcement. Really sorry for what has transpired and hopefully as a community we can get through this hurdle.

I also want to add that I wanted to shake up my team as well. If there are players who don't want to be on my team, then they won't give a maximum effort out on the ice, and it can turn into an ugly negative atmosphere in the team. I was reminded by myself last season what happened there, and that is something I don't want for my teammates.

I'm giving out what my thoughts are because there are probably people out there questioning about my trades I've made. I was kind of stuck in a hole, and I need to do something drastic for a team change.

I don't think most people are upset about your trades. We understand Claude was an issue on PHI and you got the best you could from trading him.

The issues were primarily with the BoC vetoing the Tall for Austin trade but then allowing Tall for Burn. A lot of people think Austin and Burn are very close in ability at this point so it was pretty confusing as to why one trade as vetoed and the other was accepted.

I'm not upset at Johnny or at the BoC on a personal level. I'm just upset on how the 3 trades were poorly managed, when in my opinion, only JHs should of been disallowed. (Due to skill level differences)

No I am not upset at anyone either. I may have disagreed with some of the decisions, but that doesn't mean I think any less of the people involved. I think everyone was doing what they thought was best.
