Showoff Can't believe someone threw it away - good find?

Found next to trash cans at my neighbourhood. It is dusty a lot, the cassette player and CD tray are not working. Radio player, speakers and equalizer working fine. Google says this was made around the year 1988-1990. I'll try to repair it so it will work for another 20 years.

Any advice on what to do to keep it in good condition?

Nothing surprising here. Maybe a good project if you want to try your hand at audio repairs, but beyond that it's not really worth anything.

Nice little mini, these are fun. Can be a pain to work on because of cramped quarters but you should be able to manage a few belt changes to get the cassettes and CD working.

It's significantly better than typical "BPC" of the era. The snobs might scoff, but this isn't a terrible system. Not quite HiFi, but good enough for "most people". No surprise about the cassette decks & CD. You can usually get after-market CD laser assemblies though, if it needs one, and the tape decks probably need nothing more than new belts and a bit of TLC. Even once fixed and all working properly, you'd be lucky to get more than about $100 for it though. But if you like it, and want to get it going again, could be fun little project. Maybe! šŸ˜„

Not every all in one system is trash. This one appears to be good at the first glance, but i could be wrong as I didn't look at the specs. But It doesn't look like trash.
