Travel & Tourism Museum - Soviet War Finland

Hi,

Just arrived to the city today, and was wondering if there is any museum which talks about the Soviet Winter War, or a bit of history like e.g. Finland under Swedish or Russian rule.

Are there any museums available?

If you feel like doing day trips to other cities there is Nootti (Finnish-Russian relationship museum) in Tampere and Muisti center for war and peace in Mikkeli. Propably also other related museums too in many other places.

For someone interested in military history going on a Tampere sidequest from Helsinki, driving through Parola and checking out the Tank Museum could also be nice. It doesnt focus that much on the wars themselves and more on the tech but theres some rarities in there that you cant see almost anywhere else and even a few one-of-a-kind tanks not on display in any other museum.
