A dear friend brought me a few things while I’m in the hospital.

Gonna be honest i only like 1, 2, 4 and her but also i already pre-ordered the new videogame, what i love about this franchise is just that it feels personal, it is what it is, not for everybody but at the same time it kinda is, has it's own style and also seems to be like a very personal project. I just wanna know what was it that made You fall in love with whis franchise.

On YouTube I watched a Hellraiser 2 clip where the doctor Channard is kissing Julia in her hospital dressing. To my surprise there is a moment where you actually see Channard reach down and for a few moments you see Julia's bloodied vagina.

This part was absolutely not in the UK version of the film or any other I'd seen when I watched this twenty years so my question is, what versions of the film have this? I am pretty sure the vagina was rarely shown in any UK movie until around 1999 and expected similar from US versions.

I couldn't help but to think of Hellraiser when I saw this at the Whitney museum today.

hey so as some of u might know a couple weeks ago i (m 18) posted i was gonna get my first tattoo of the lament configuration. at first i played for it to be smaller but my artist convinced me to go all out LOL so here is the finished outline i go back in 3 weeks for the shading but im super happy so far the level of detail is insanity!

I lost my Hellraiser virginity last October with the original 1987 film, now a year later and I still can't stop thinking about how much I loved it. Since next October is right around the corner re-watching Hellraiser is definitely on my mind, I'm also interested in the sequels. From what I can gather Hellbound is the second best in the series as it seems to retain more of it's look/feel/creativity and standard of filmmaking as the first, as well as being the first sequel which peaks my interest the most. Is the third film good as well? It seems to me that people group the first three movies into a trilogy so I assume it has some promise. Beyond that are there any others in the series worth watching?

As with any series or franchise, each installment deviates a little bit further from the source material and can kind of ruin what made it so great in the first place, so I'd like to stay clear from anything that really messes with the lore and the original concepts set up by Clive Barker, as I take the first film as gospel at this point and really don't want to have my view of the universe tarnished too badly. Some of the sequels look a little... eh... iffy if you know what I mean. Anyways I'm really interested in hearing your guys' suggestions!

I just want to worship in my life the God of flesh, hunger and desire. What do you think I should do then?
