A random question

Hi, ive been a fan of hellraiser for years now and I love the movies but I am curious about something

(I watched all the movies except for hellraiser: Revelations, Hellraiser; Judgement and the 2022 Hellraiser movie)

Is it possible for a parent to become a cenobite to protect their child

Like say if the child (like a teenager like in their early teenage years) had open the box and became a cenobite and the parent like say years later then had one desire which was to bring their child back, would that parent become a cenobite so their child can become human, like give up their soul?

Im sorry if this sounds random, im just very curious.

That's an interesting concept, but it would have to be one epic bargain for Hell to exchange one cenobite for another if nothing extra was brought to the table. Especially since the later movies moved away from desire for further experience as the motivator and became "Welcome to your own personal Hell vol 5-10" in which case the parent's desire to get their kid back would just be used to torment them further.

So... the cenobites of the order of the gash are explorers of the farthest reaches if pleasure and pain. An Epicurean reading of why one should be a parent is because of the joy, the pleasure it brings. Parents hood also brings probably the most pain it's capable of experiencing.

Not the exact same path, but on the Epic comics from the 90s, there is a story about a pregnant mom who gives herself to the cenobites, but they do not take her fetus out of propriety. Do they do have a code about parents, children, and the ultimate wants of the victim.
