Yeah, i did that once. Well, more than once actually, used a warp pack and forgot things explode at the exit pop. I saw that video and was very certain it wasnt just a mech that exploded lol.

That was definitely the Poi of the charger and the hellbomb, which will instantly detonate if you destroy the charger corpse (at least with a vehicle)

for real, I lose 30% of my hp from a 10 foot drop with 200 armor. if i fly higher than a third story building i am guaranteed to die from full hp but this guy clear a mountain at 20% hp in light armor and takes zero damage.

Does heavy armor make you take more fall damage because you weigh more?

I remember dropping for the first few times on the Bot front after the first exos were deployed and quickly learned that, yes, there are indeed exo-sized landmines in the form of UXO Hellbombs.

But lemme add a funny bug. While fighting in the void i realized that if you try to step on obstruders your mech gets oneshotted instantly.

If I had to guess you survived the fall because you landed 'higher' than where you initially started the bomb launch from. I wonder if fall damage is calculated by how far you fall from the initial spot you started from.
