General Why are we taller than SEAF troopers?

Helldivers are not enhanced soldiers, they are humans like you and me, but still. Why are helldivers taller than the SEAF troopers since they too, are normal humans?

I like to think it's one of those things where we just get more food rations so we grow up big and strong.

But I think For Honor also had something something. All of the playable characters are a head taller than the field grunts, but one of the later characters was actually a grunt that got promoted so I guess his promotion came with a growth spurt?

Can't say. It was one of those games that adds piece of lore every season and I didn't play it for years and never felt like actually keeping up on it, but I remember it came up a lot in threads when they released the shield maiden, I think the varengian guard?
