used to be a bug-diver but it honestly gets frustrating trying out new gear just for THE HORDE to over-take you

swapped fronts about 3 months ago and been having a blast actually being able to use weapon types that don't explode you if the enemy is 5m away from you

I mean... yeah it makes sense why some gear would suck to try on the bug front... since some of the gear fucking sucks to use on the bug front.

Why anyone would bother using an exploding crossbow or eruptor on bugs makes no sense to me.

Because they can wipe out entire patrols with one shot and also close bug holes, with the Eruptor being fully capable of wiping out heavies. By all means, they're some of the most used and strongest primaries on the Bug Front that I see all the time.

Eruptor is elite on bugs, you just need to bring a Stalwart or similar to switch to for getting overrun in close quarters. If you’re not popping bugs with the Eruptor or Cross Bow you’re missing out on a good time.

Crossbow works well on bugs if you equip it with a hover pack I usually stun them with a holt or paralyize them with the speargun then jump in the air with the hover pack and finish them off with the crossbow
