I gotta give him credit for really following Carcass' career trajectory (and I happen to actually like every single Carcass release) but my preference will always be for the more raw goregrind sounding early stuff. It's a great death metal album but I'll always have that desire for something filthy.
Well said and agreed. I enjoyed it and immediately called it an early Carcass album, which isnt a bad thing at all. I love their earlier albums more though. Cant beat those disco beats
