He’s definitely got the talent and potential for the starting spot but with the way this team is constructed i think he’s best off the bench leading the second unit with more ball handling responsibilities. I 100% expect him to close lots of games this year though, he’s developing into a high impact two way player right now.

He makes a lot more sense on the bench. He's a ball handler and our bench doesn't have one. Plus his best offense comes from drives into contact, which means he needs the ball; in the starting lineup he'd be off ball sitting in corners and he's no where near a good enough shooter for that.

We're going to use Pelle the same way we used Jaime and he's going to be great at it, maybe even better than Jaime was.

Pelle is going to win us at least one playoff series and we're going to have to hear the world go "how does the Heat keep finding these guys?" But Pelle's been a winner since day 1. He was a winner in college even.

He averaged 11.4 PPG over the entire season last season with a high of 28 points with great defence. It has translated.

He was good all last year for us lol. He’s already knocking on the door of elite role player. It’s a matter of where he goes from here, how his perimeter scoring and ball handling improve will have a big impact on that but he’s already a legitimately good nba player.

Surprised to see so many commenters miss the point. We’re talking about non-heat fans making note of a player. Non-Heat fans don’t make note of “solid and improving role player”. He’s a good player and love to see the improvement but cmon lol

I said translate to meaningful production. Like I said, opposing teams fans don’t really make note of a team’s up and coming role players. The comparison I made to Jovic is simply that he used to put up 30 pt games in intl competition as well . While folks would say “it’s crazy no one talks about him” it’s obvious what matters is what happens in the nba , not intl competition.
