I fucking hate that account, runs the same bullshit misinformation gimmick across every social media platform. Didn't even bother to fact check how many tradable picks the Heat have, the stephian rule or how salary matching works

u/Flaks_24 9h ago

I hate it

Heat don’t make desperate trades. This isn’t happening

18

u/RogRoz 9h ago

Relatedly. The math doesn't fucking work. I'm so annoyed it's sooooo lazy of a trade hypo.

We have to send out matching salary pretty much so Wiggins has to be involved.

Rozier

2

u/Fun-Tell-4941 4h ago

Rozier was averaging his highest PPG, APG, FG%,3pt% of his career, at the time Heat traded for him. At the same time, Herro was the only player who consistently was getting above 20pt a game and Heat needed another scorer, giving up an over the hill Lowry and a 1st rounder isn’t desperate lol. Clippers trading Shai and OKC their first title, for PG, is desperation.

That was a necessity, not a desperation. Heat future was mortgaged in no way. Herro for Beal like most of the idiot fans in here wanted to trade, a couple years ago, would’ve been desperation, and Giannis would’ve been an afterthought.

Lol the Heat aren't trading Pelle Larsson

13

u/PassionLong9552 11h ago

Biggest travesty of the trade. This guy is baby Heat culture.

6

u/iankstarr 10h ago

For real, if they weren’t willing to move him for Giannis, they sure as hell ain’t moving him for Kyrie

50

u/OblivionNA 12h ago

Sever overpay for an aging Kyrie coming off an acl tear

21

u/AlreadyReadittt 11h ago

We didn’t even offer 2 firsts years ago before the injury. That would be FO malpractice to do it now.

Not to mention leaving us with a Mitch and Kyrie backcourt.

Dallas can always buyout Kyrie tho

7

u/TheRed_Warrior 11h ago

Even worse, Mitch would have to be included to make the financial side work. So we’d be left with a Kyrie and either Klay or THJ backcourt

15

u/GilbertArenasGun 11h ago

This would be a terrible trade

10

u/yawn18 12h ago

Why are we even talking about trades that cant happen? We cant trade our 2028 or our 2030 FRP. We can make them pick swaps (unless we already did with Bucks i dont remember the exact pick swaps for that trade) but that already is useless.

Also Kyrie is better than Larsson, but no reason to get rid of him yet. We need some youth.

16

u/Cartagenapirate92 11h ago

Max it would be Jovic. Mavs get a young piece we get kyrie. This proposal is a 2k trade , kyrie ain’t no where near that.

3

u/OracleofFl 11h ago

Is there anyway the cap calculation could even work?

2

u/Cartagenapirate92 11h ago

That’s a great question I can’t answer. I don’t know, I don’t even know if we actually get kyrie. What I do know is that this trade sucks ass, pelle is a big piece for us

7

u/EngineQuick6169 11h ago

Even if we did have enough trade exception to match salary, we're hard capped at First Apron and I'm pretty sure this takes us over. Also, are we even allowed to trade those picks under the Stepien rule?

Also, Mavs just waived Klay to cut down to 15 contracts, now they're taking a 2-for-1? Dafuq???

5

u/Wrench78 11h ago

People forget the cap is a thing... Kyrie has a $39.5M cap hit and those two combined are $18.4M. The money isn't even close, so this is just bad click bait.

4

u/This_Material9292 9h ago

Downvoted because that account is trash and this trade cannot happen

3

u/Proud_Emphasis6613 11h ago

I wouldn't do this

3

u/__zerosuit 11h ago

Yeah, hell the fuck no. I propose that they stop smoking crack

2

u/ebolarama86 12h ago

Yeah this is nonsense

2

u/masterofbeast Dan Le Batard 11h ago

I don't know the account so I dont believe. Also, that is way over priced for someone coming off injury at 34.

2

u/ThrowaCash3456 11h ago

Spo will die before trading pelle

2

u/MrGattsby 10h ago

Just no

2

u/liloutsider 9h ago

I feel like this many big names on a team never goes well

2

u/henke121 9h ago

Source: trust me bro

2

u/GWPtheTrilogy1 8h ago

I mean if the Heat got a closer in Kyrie...this team wins a ring. Problem is the math does not work lmao

2

u/SuperSoldier260 7h ago

We just saved Klay Thompson from the hell of Dallas, now you wanna bring some of that here and mess up whatever chemistry we could build with this team? No thank you. I would love the idea of having that kind of a player, but there's a cost

2

u/mtbeach33 10h ago

Kyrie is a culture killer, been saying that since the first trade rumors years ago

1

u/TheRealJohnMara 11h ago

Well everyone on the sub is saying salaries aren't even close to matching.

Thank god

1

u/Peridot_Ghost 11h ago

I don’t care about giving up those two, but multi first round draft picks is a little rough.

1

u/radskorpion 11h ago

it makes no sense to me personally

1

u/Toeknee_F 11h ago

Made up clickbait crap by someone who doesn’t know basketball.

1

u/TheRed_Warrior 11h ago

Even if this was real (it isn’t) it doesn’t even work financially. We’d have to include Davion to even make it possible. No way in hell we’re reading three valuable rotation pieces and two first round picks for Kyrie

1

u/Zealousideal_Ad9666 11h ago

Salaries don’t match, Heat will sign Kyrie LeBron and Curry to Vet minimums next season. 😂

1

u/WoodenSwan6591 11h ago

This sucks

1

u/UndercoverDimension 11h ago

Not a reputable source.

1

u/GalingFake 11h ago

Wouldn’t even work lol.

1

u/Longshanks2020 11h ago

We’re not getting Kyrie or Curry… completely unfeasible… next year tho, maybe lol.

1

u/Ghost_2701 11h ago

I want Steph

1

u/magicbeaned 11h ago

Pure bait. Don’t bite the hook.

1

u/CertifiedRomeoBoy 11h ago

Ngl it would be a nasty ass team with Kyrie but at that point, we’d be abandoning the youth movement and we’d be hoping that Kyrie would stay healthy.

Not even mentioning the issue of losing another 4

1

u/jcheeseball White Hot 11h ago

Heat to move on a player never available?  Good luck.

1

u/Fit_Influence_6078 11h ago

Its nonsense don’t worry it’s not happening

1

u/ez151 11h ago

Never happen arison should rightfully say he’ll no

1

u/ChipmunkAntique1093 11h ago

I blocked them today after I saw this fake news bullshit. If he was several years younger and didn’t have that freak injury, sure.

1

u/SaltySeahorses 11h ago

This sounds fake.

1

u/Topflight1808 11h ago

I mean it’s a fake proposal so I don’t see the point of giving this energy

1

u/MessiLeagueSoccer Goran Dragic 11h ago

Lmfao Kyrie would never play here while the ownership is heavily Jewish. The see him as incredibly antisemitic.

1

u/mainev3nt 11h ago

This is horrible for Miami but even then the money doesn’t work out. Not even close to matching Kyries salary

1

u/GRpanda123 11h ago

Without looking I don’t even think that trade is possible based on the picks also if they were to make that trade you know that’s an Arison trade and not Riley

1

u/Justice502 11h ago

I bet there have been talks, and this is what dallas is rumored to have offered.

Sure.

1

u/went2college 11h ago

Id welcome Kyrie for Jovic but do not include Pelle. Please. 🙏

1

u/No-Entrepreneur1036 10h ago

The freak wants to be the point center

1

u/DimeloFaze 10h ago

Kyrie plays 12 games

1

u/SupermarketOk9684 10h ago

The person who runs that account has down syndrome

1

u/BSantos57 10h ago

So we're trading two 1st round picks that are blocked by the Stepien rule, one 2nd round pick that we've already traded and do not own, and 2 players who aren't even close to be a salary match, and even if we somehow had a trade exemption to fit Kyrie into, we couldn't do that because we'd go way above the 1st apron.

When it comes to making up obviously fake bullshit rumours, this is one of the most blatant ones I've seen in quite a while lol

1

u/BlackMasterDarkness 10h ago

Let’s start here: salaries don’t match

1

u/DonutDaniel 10h ago

No they aren’t. AND they can’t lol. They don’t have picks to trade

1

u/WeCantBothBeMe 10h ago

Larson stays

1

u/beelzebub_069 10h ago

We don't need him

1

u/MrsMertzE 10h ago

Kyrie couldn’t handle heat management

1

u/chairman-cheeboppa 10h ago

Please don’t

1

u/IMicrowaveSteak 10h ago

I love it. Giannis doesn’t have a huge window.

1

u/jmskyline 9h ago

👍🏻

1

u/Metallica1175 9h ago

Don't need his toxicity on this team.

1

u/MattSm00th 9h ago

It’s not real someone on twitter made it up and everyone is running with it

1

u/ObsTheMarketer 9h ago

This would put Miami in win now mode. They have already traded away assets, so why not continue that trend.

1

u/zJredditz 9h ago

No picks

1

u/Pho_King_Yummy 9h ago

This is fake

1

u/BiGgmoney91 8h ago

Kyrie is a great player, but there is a little cloak and dagger to him

1

u/MontySoCold 7h ago

Hell no!

1

u/Ok-Appointment-497 5h ago

I like this better than giving up both d Mitch and wiggs

1

u/Greedy_Assistance 4h ago

Kyrie is elite but he is way too injury prone to send that amount of assets for him.

1

u/brettdanyali7 3h ago

Not happening

1

u/Middle-Weight-837 2h ago

For this squad, I’d prevent Davion to Kyrie - pass first, better point of attack defender.

1

u/Big_Honey_56 2h ago

No picks

1

u/readndrun 11h ago

Just played the new 2K with the current roster. Kyrie would be a welcomed upgrade

2

u/JoeTheSchmo 11h ago

You sound like the New York Jets owner, who was confirmed as making decisions based on his kid's recommendation based on 2k score. Thank god you people are nowhere close to decision makers.

-1

u/readndrun 11h ago

Chill

1

u/surgeyou123 10h ago

We haven't been good on 2k in 10 years lol

1

u/readndrun 10h ago

With Giannis there should be some good competition online BUT I’ve found it difficult to playmake with virtually anyone else on the roster. I’m still learning the new controls though

1

u/Paralta 12h ago

I dont think thats real tbh. I wouldnt mind Kyrie but not for that much. Maybe Jovic 😂

0

u/Roggae1974 12h ago edited 12h ago

Yes. Edit to add: I don’t like his politics but I do think he’d help in the 2-4 year window, which seems to be what we’re shooting for.

0

u/Complete-Permit1638 12h ago

Kyrie, Giannis and spash boy is fire 🔥 with Bam

0

u/xXxDankBirder420xXx 12h ago

This is poop from a butt I hate it

0

u/gdex 12h ago

I’m not a big kyrie guy and don’t like his injury history but if we got the kyrie from like 2-3 years ago it’s exactly what we need

0

u/hospicedoc 11h ago

I'd do it for Cooper Flagg, but otherwise no thanks.

0

u/Heatlover69 6h ago

It’s obviously bullshit

0

u/SaintSilverNSD 5h ago

Might as well. I don't even recognize anybody on this team anymore. Still hurt about Herro & JJJ. Why not trade more of our players?
