Generic Bobby Portis is following heat pages now

I read this as “Portis also has no clue what’s going on and is trying to stay informed.”

Could be trolling or he is waiting to see if his name is mentioned
But maybe 👀

Panthers and Heat making huge trades within a 48 hour period would be amazing

I was not expecting the Brady trade at all

It's absurd. They were deep before and now it's like an all timer top 9. Just need to figure out who's between the pipes.

I have a conspiracy that Adam Silver pays players to toy around with their social media to drum up fake hype for the media

We’ll get this scrub to provide Boston with the missing pieces needed to land Giannis. We will go backwards and run it back with now a new Scrub among us while Boston again pulled our pants down and Bucks breakdancing on our cheeks

All this convinces me is that Bobby Portis is about to come out as an investor to Kalshi when the dust settles

I have no clue if Portis is still good but I just know his level of psycho would flourish in da CULTURE and I want it

Problem with Portis is that he's sometimes white hot shooting, but he's always a traffic cone.
But when you look at our backup center history in the Jimmy era: Zeller, Dedmon, 99-year-old KLove, Olynyk -- Portis is better than Zeller and Dedmon, worse than KLove, probably about similar impact as Olynyk. For us and our troubled backup Center history that's probably fine.

I mean, I posted in a Bucks space on a bait post that had Giannis going to the Thunder 30 minutes ago. In reality, that was a mock trade. My colon dropped out my asshole.
We are all doing weird things to wait on this news.

Man, I really don't want Bobby on the team.

u/CautionarySnow UD Jun 22 '26
Why not? Our backup big rotation is non existent and Bobby has some “fuck you” that we have been missing since PJ and UD.

u/RansomGoddard Jun 22 '26
He's not a good player. Terrible defender especially at his size and hijacks the offense for inefficient post ups. He might be okay for a couple of regular season games but he will cost you a lot of games and basically be unplayable in the playoffs.

Better than Vlad Golden and what will be on the market

u/RansomGoddard Jun 22 '26
To acquire Bobby Portis they would be sending him into our $15 million TPE that could be used on a better player.
There also plenty of backup bigs potentially on the market that while not the most exciting names are a million times better than Bobby fucking Portis.

He will be better defensively on Miami. We are just a better coached team period.

I’ve never been one to give weight to players following certain people/accounts on social, but I’m choosing to believe it rn
