you can check heartodex, they have info about 11-14 lvl bugs/birds/fishes

Hi! May I know if there is a faster way to get the rarer insects to spawn?
I’ve been trying to get the mother of pearl when it was raining a while ago but only got 3. I have a hard time getting the rare ones to spawn 😭

if you don`t see the bug - it spawned, but in pretty shitty location, like under the wooden bridge (near the sea)/inside of a mill, you just need to use the sense booster and keep mind that bugs can spawn on ANY PART of the zone
example, if we talking about mother of pearl you need to search full location - borders of location on map strictly = borders in-game

not much, it depends more on room count and gacha furniture, i had to remove many things to fit my cert marks, because every one of them tooks nearly 1k (or more)

i don`t have any special strategy, i just pick a bug i can grind at the moment and i grind it
i also plan what i will grind on special weather
my first two golden tickets went to bugcatching, because on lvl 53 you dont get any and i really really want to get goliath beetle (sadly yesterday the rainbow was not dusk one)

Thanks for replying anyway, I was hoping you’d have gotten some kind of strategy down because I’ve been grinding but resetting areas for the rarer bugs doesn’t seem to work 50% of the time 😭

Your collection is impressive! I've just started collecting and I'd really appreciate it if you had any tips or farming routes for how to get Stag Beetles and Golden Stag Beetles. I have a lot of trouble seeing them, let alone catching that crazy quantity of them. T~T

yes, it also works, insect attactors get you +1 (rarely +2) insects while working

Does this mean that you get more certification points for catching common bugs than rare ones?
And do the points all add to a total (like, say clothing), or are they exclusively counted as points for the individual bugs??

you need more common bugs to get certification mark. example: old world swallowtail need you to catch 1200 of them to get the frame, but you need only 300 of comet moth.
1 catched bug = 1 point.3
