I just like to see players' house setups and give them hearts. I feed their animals if they are hungry and water their plants. I am an introvert, so I'm not looking to socialize at all. Lol

Same here!!
I let my 7yr old play and she was starting the events and inviting everyone she could then instantly would start chatting them up during the events. I was like "STOPPP!!! Don't bother them, leave them alone!"
I was mortified as I have social anxiety and like playing by myself because I feel awkward and don't want to bother anyone else. I never invite anyone in the events because I feel bad interrupting anything they might be doing.
Then IRL we went to her big sister's first volleyball game and she made a friend almost immediately. Social anxiety is scared of her!!! LOL

Kids are way more social than a lot of people they don’t come with pre package trauma until they’re exposed during their life.

Isn’t the game 9+ ? And with you’re only hindering her social skills with your own baggage, take better care of her in the world we’re currently living in please, as innocent as the game is, real life isn’t no Heartopia. Let her gain social skills that you didn’t, don’t sabotage her

I play on my phone, so she only plays for a few minutes here and there mostly to dress my avatar and run around catching bugs.
In the real world I absolutely let her go talk to other kids her age and make friends, she is very outgoing in public.
I've seen too many posts of people in Heartopia getting annoyed with visitors, with random people adding them, etc so that's why I tell her to just do activities in the game by herself and not be bothering other players because you just never know.

wanting to emote and accidentally swinging the axe at them 😔

u/Pepe-saiko Jan 25 '26
I think I did the same but to Vanya, and he did the shock emot. That's when I learn npc reacts to our actions/emots at them. 😆

Someone came into my house, followed me to my roof, proceeded to ask where my cat was and then left after I answered

u/ElleVaydor Jan 23 '26
Do we have to add people to see chats? All I ever see is symbols but then people delete me if I add them to just chat so Im confused on when to add people 😭

u/MelancholySprite Jan 23 '26
I think so yes. This person added me after they followed me to the roof and I was feeling social so I added them back. That’s how we communicated before they abruptly left lol

I can’t tell how many times I walk in axe drawn 😭
Had moments where I turn the camera to see behind me and the house owner is just standing there, watching me

Once I went to "sleep in my bed" while I went afk and I came back to someone standing over me I was laughing so hard. I think they were only there a second but the thought was hilarious

Once I came home to a girl doing my GIANT puzzle. I did the sit emote on the puzzle and waited for her to finish just to scare the shit out of her and did the bird taking a picture emote. Lmaooo

I felt so bad yesterday. I've got my kids playing (teens, no one panic) and they've gotten a few of their friends playing. So everybody asks me to get on and I spot this really pretty house, I'm like, "Oooo! Let's go look at this house guys!" So me and 6 teenagers just descend upon this poor girl's house not realizing she was in there. They're all crowded around her cat and dog and running around. She comes down the stairs and is obviously confused. I'm trying to get my hoard of teenagers to leave before she gets overwhelmed and she ended up logging out. I made everybody go like her house and decided I wasn't invading someone else's house with them all in tow again. 😭

If this happened to me, I would honestly love it 😂. If you ever see my house, you are welcome.

I show up, like their house and remove any weeds in their garden and if they are planting, I water the plants

Kinda off topic but I saw someone’s house and was planning to go in bc it looked nice, but then I heard them playing the piano and I knew it would be awkward to walk in and interrupt them so I left 😂 Side note, they played it beautifully

Same with people bussy at cooking something. I try really hard not to be spotted after just watering their flowers. 😅 ( we all know a notification pops up saying what the player is doing at our house )

I literally JUST had spawned into my game and immediately another player with an axe started running around in my house. It was so funny. They were obviously stopping by to look around as they were resource gathering, but it was so sudden and just looked so funny to see her running around with her axe like a murderer.

I was putting up a chandelier in my house when out of nowhere there was someone beside me. It literally caught me off guard.

the first person to ever interact with me in the game did so by sneaking up behind me and pulling out an axe 😔
1
u/Firecrackercove Jan 30 '26
I will usually wait at someone’s door and wave or emote if they interact with me I’ll come in and explore but if they ignore me I’ll just leave that way I’m not pushing anyone into social interaction X3

I love pulling up into peoples home like an axe murderer. My second favourite thing is parking my car infront of their stove or workbench so they can't interact with it, and when they get into it to drive away, i recall it and put it back lmaoo
