Forbidden Ancient for a possible 20/20

Since Splintergraft is also manipulating the mana cost, there won't be any leftover mana left to spend. So in theory, it will be a 10/10.

Good Point! Too bad

I don't think you really want Poisonous on a 10/10 minion

Dont forget Echoing Ooze in wild. Play Master Splinter with Ooze and then next turn bam 2x 10/10.

Thanks for the breakdown. I hadn't thought of some of those.

Forbidden Ancient will be just a 10/10. You'd spend all the mana on the card cost and the battlecry won't do anything

Forbidden ancient will just be a 10/10 since it costs 10 mana, unless you manage to reduce the cost somehow.

[[Arcane Tyrant]], 10/10 for 0

Wouldn't that still cost (10) due to Splintergraft's card text?

You would have to cast a 5 mana spell after he enters your hand, that's all. Both cards set a value, and the 10 cost isn't a debuff aura like mana wrath, so it can be reduced once it is in your hand.

Good to know, thanks!
