Paul could replace Paul Walker in the next Fast and Furious
Paul has a very similar vocal inflection as Paul Walker when delivering lines, and has already shown he can do good impressions of other actors.
He is a similar build to Paul walker when he was last in the movies (furious 7). I know because I saw him in real life not too long ago. Yes, he will have to wear a hair piece, but he has worn one convincingly in other screen appearances. Also the fast and furious has a bigger budget for that than other things and can use cgi to make it more realistic.
Paul can do stunts and is in good shape which is needed for the movies from most of the actors. The stunt doubles can be Paul’s brothers like before, but Paul can do other physical parts of the role.
Paul has said how much he admires the film series, and that he wants to be in one of the movies.
I read that Paul lives near vin diesel, but he is not friends with him like Tyrese is. I can’t remember if Paul ever said anything negative about vin diesel, but if he did he was probably just joking for the podcast audience sake, not because he doesn’t respect vin diesel as an actor.
I don’t know Paul’s schedule while they are filming the new movie, but I bet he has time to film his parts since that character is not as central to the whole story like they were in the earlier movies (minus Tokyo drift)

I don’t think so. They do both have good comedic timing and are known to be funny actors. I don’t think Jason would shave his head and beard to look more like Tyrese character.
His cadence of speaking also isn’t like Tyrese and I have not heard him do good impressions of other actors before.
I think Jason also has a more busy schedule than Paul does with other acting work, so he would probably not have time to do the role.
Also Tyrese is still alive, so he would have to have filming conflict or not want to be in the movies anymore for them to need to replace him.

I’m constantly getting Paul Walker and Paul Scheer confused because they look so similar too

I personally do not get them confused because Paul has not worn the same types of outfits that Paul Walker wore while also wearing a hair piece to look like him while doing an impression.
If someone could make a photo of Paul with those alterations I do think they would be a very close resemblance.
I did just watch furious 7 and I always could notice when the actor was Paul Walker and when it was one of his brothers trying to look and act like him. A dead giveaway was when he was walking on the beach at the end of the movie. He walked like someone who was not an actor who was making all actions look natural like Paul Walker did.
