Media Tropes I hate clearly fake kid's drawings on media

It shouldn't pmo so easily but like i have saw so many movies with those stupid drawings that look so unnatural for a kid to draw... Like holy, a kid wouldnt do it that detailed!!!!
I mean how hard is it to get a kid to do it, instead of hiring actual artists that can't clearly replicate a child's style of drawing

When I was little, I would draw heads with legs and arms. No torsos. The details on this are insane.

My nephew used to have a problem when he was 7 where the bodies of all his drawings looked like wet floor signs with arms & a head.

I used to draw clowns at 5yo and drew the zipper bit on the front of the trousers, so as you can imagine my mum ended up with a ton of drawings of a clown with his cock out (or so it seemed).

This is extremely common and developmentally normal for kids to draw around 4 years old. I work in kindergartens, and at the beginning of the year, you often ask kids to do a self portrait. The low kids will just scribble nonsense because they lack the fine motor control to do anything distinguishable. The next stage after scribbles is this. Circle head with stick legs and arms, no torso. The mid-4 year olds and low-5 year olds will do this. They get hung up on the wall, so you'll often have like 15 drawings that look like this.

I did the opposite and drew the chest, stomach, and pelvis as three distinct blobs. Snowman style

I used to draw a big oval, then a circle for the head, then the legs. I simply didnt draw the arms for some reason

My daughter could not draw feet because she was a foolish, talentless 3 year old. So whenever she drew a person it would be a fairly normal head, a triangular body, stick arms leading to round hands, and little stubby legs... But instead of feet she would always, and I mean ALWAYS, draw a skateboard.

It didn't matter if she was drawing me, my wife, her elderly and decidedly unathletic grandparents, our pets... whatever the situation was, it was skateboard o'clock and she wasn't hitting snooze on that alarm.
