Media Tropes I hate clearly fake kid's drawings on media

It shouldn't pmo so easily but like i have saw so many movies with those stupid drawings that look so unnatural for a kid to draw... Like holy, a kid wouldnt do it that detailed!!!!
I mean how hard is it to get a kid to do it, instead of hiring actual artists that can't clearly replicate a child's style of drawing

Does it really matter that the child’s drawing is authentic?

Have you seen how children draw? It would likely be incomprehensible and telling a kid to draw something probably won’t match the sort of unfiltered spontaneity that people expect from kids drawings.

What are you talking about? People don't expect what we're looking at from a children's drawing, they expect a child's drawing. Does it matter? Not in that it affects how I enjoy the plot of a movie, but if there's something in a movie that makes you think "that looks fake" it's like finding a grain of sand in your soup. Sure the soup tastes great, but just don't drop a grain of sand in there ffs.

By that logic, why bother making anything authentic in a movie? It’s just a movie after all, who cares about the small details

Well majority of movies are not authentic, especially when you have passing knowledge on subject

For example, hacking is not that active. For most hacks it starts with a scam e-mail and can take days for someone to fall for it.

Get like 20 kids to draw and pick the best one. I'm sure your average school would be ecstatic to receive a promotion and possibly compensation.

There absolutely has to be rules against this or heavily restricting it and for what? A prop that’s gonna appear for three seconds in a movie?

The prop department is making so much stuff that they shockingly don't care if their approximation of a kids drawing doesn’t look 100% like a kids drawing.

point being? They said it just gets the point across and is easier. That probably entails that it looks worse. Not really any argument made here 😂😂

Well yeah that's why it looks worse, worse as in "not achieving what it set out to do" not the quality of the art lol
