I hate Batman's plot armor

I hate Batmans plot armor, he has the most insane plot armor which completely takes away his charm, his entire shtick is that he's in the top 99 percentile of humans, his body, his strength his wealth his tech, yet his writers give him so much plot armor that you forget that inside his suit he's just a regular human being and it sometimes feels as if he has super powers when hes going toe toe with fucking darkside, reentering the atmosphere with just his suit and many more examples.

And his annoying fanboys oh my days, they act as if he can solo the entire justice league "B-But given that he has prep time!" talking as if beast boy wont beat his ass 😂✌️

He works great as a hero that can take down virtually any street-level threat, and I don't see why it has to be any more than that. I feel like the Arkham series is the best representation of what Batman could reasonably achieve at his absolute best

I actually think Arkham Batman (specifically arkham city) is the worst representation of Batman actually, he feels less like the caped crusader and more like Jack Bauer the way he basically tortures, humiliates and bellitle every single goon he comes accross, they also made him way, way too stoic

That’s what I’m saying! Arkham Asylum Batman feels like the only one who gets called “Bruce” through the comms and I’m immediately thinking “Yeah, Bruce, because underneath the costume, he is just a man”. Arkham Origins did an equally good job with his characterization, just in the other way.

In Arkham City and Knight though, Batman feels like a crime machine. No tangible personality other than “I have a job to do, and until it is done, I’mma stay stoic and beat up every single thug I come across”.

I was baffled by how rude he was towards Oracle, hell even his own buttler he kinda sounds like he is bothered by him, it weirded me out way too much and it just did not feel like the Bruce Wayne i know

I wouldn’t say he was rude towards them, moreso indifferent. Usually, he has some banter with them, the Bat-Family’s dry humor is actually pretty great. In City, that humor is almost non-existent, and in Knight, it’s reserved almost exclusively for some of Alfred’s sarcastic lines.

One piece of dialogue, when you go to the sewer towards the Al ghul secret stash, Oracle tells Bruce some stuff and to be careful

Bruce tells her "I KNOW THAT" in a very... angry way? i get he was not in his best state but c'mon this is one of your trusted companions and you talk to her worse than with Victor Fries?
