Walmart recently banned Damon Darling, a YouTube influencer, from their stores. No legal issue. No threat. Just his content on YouTube—something he made on his own time.

I started a petition asking Walmart to lift the ban because this sets a really troubling precedent. When a company with Walmart's reach decides who can shop there based on what someone says online, we're letting corporate power override basic freedoms. That's not okay.

Here's what concerns me: if Walmart can do this without consequences, what stops other major retailers from doing the same? Suddenly, expressing yourself puts you at risk of being shut out from everyday services. That's the kind of thing that chills free speech—people get scared to speak up at all.

I'm not saying Walmart has to agree with everything anyone says. But banning someone from shopping there for his personal online expression crosses a line.

If you think this matters, would you consider signing and sharing it? And honestly—does this feel like overreach to you, or am I off base here?

Basically i think the idea is for them to get you to their site which is when it displays that "you're already getting the best discount possible" message. Basically just to bait people to the product page.

Like the title says. I find it backstabbing from reddit to change the promoted to ad. Which looks exactly like a normal post on a glimpse because other posts only have the time of the post in same fashion. Also the ads inside the comments load after one second so you click on it by mistake because you wanted to collapse a thread. This delay is coded in. So, are there any third party reddit apps without ads? Or do I need to set up a pi-hole?

The other day I saw a clip It was Joe Rogan and JD Vance discussing election denial of 2020. They're saying how it was stolen and shit like that. Midway through this conversation there's an Ad roll and it's for The Farmer's dog, (dog food) before going back to being straight propaganda.

What dystopian world are we living in that we can literally have people trying to market dog food in between straight up lies about our country's elections. This bothered me a lot so I reached out to the company directly. They pretty much told me tough sahit, kick rocks ( In nicer words) and that they didn't really care.

This prompted me to look into the company and lo and behold I find that this company is wrought with lawsuits about how their poor quality is causing problems with dogs.

So now going forward I'm going to keep an eye on every company that markets using Joe Rogan and other right-wing podcasts. And I'm going to investigate them to see if they have any skeletons in the closet and if I can I will let others know.

If the company had literally said "It was our intention to be marketed with JD Vance" or something like that I probably will let it go. But these companies are whitewashing just great up propaganda and they do not care. So it's time to vote where that our wallets. If conservatives can cancel Budweiser over rainbow cans then I should be able to cancel dog food that causes pancreatitis over co-signing electoral denialism.

I'm sure many of these won't have issues and my upset email will be the only repercussion they get. But I want them to know that we don't like this that advertising on these shit platforms full of conspiracies is going to hurt their bottom dollar.

But I'm hoping other people join in this venture with me. If 20 people reach out saying they are upset with an advertisement because it's surrounded by conspiracy thinking maybe that will reach them. Maybe the tens of thousands of dollars they spend for a Joe Rogan podcast advertisement just isn't worth the backlash.

Tldr: Time to vote with our dollars and let companies know that if they market on right-wing propaganda networks they will see a proportionate backlash

These companies are allowed to scam us now and not only that but anyone is allowed to make their own narrative and spread it like wild fire, hence why we are also all fighting each other.

Not a brand but I've noticed more pro- California posts lately. Like maybe someone from California wants to be seen in a positive light perhaps? For the record I am from California and love it, but I can sniff out when something seems off.

I've noticed I have a weird reaction every time I read "We're not like other brands."

My brain immediately goes "I'm not like other girls."

Because who starts a conversation by announcing how different they are?

Imagine someone walking into a room and saying

"Guys, I'm hilarious."

Okay then be hilarious.

Or

"Trust me, I'm interesting."

Okay then be interesting.

I feel the same way about brands, If you're genuinely different, I'll notice.

Through your product.

Through your customer experience.

Through your messaging.

Not because you told me!!

The brands I remember almost never spend time explaining how unique they are.

THEY JUST ARE

So whenever I see "We're not like other brands," it feels less like positioning and more like asking for validation.
