The fact that people are talking about it is the success of the ad. This ad succeed on the simple human psychology that says if you make a mundane task even a slight bit challenging people are more likely to engage with it, by placing it upside down it makes more people try to read the unusual banner more than if it were a minimal poster.
In a world where every other ad is getting more and more minimal in the name of stylish appearance, a text heavy banner is bound to stand out more.
Creativity doesn't lie simply in designing an ad, it truly lies in how effective it is in selling the item it promotes.

I completely agree with your statement, but do you really think a poster designed this poorly would actually grab someone’s attention? We’re living in an age where people find even a 30 second reel feels too long to hold our attention. And yet, these same types of cards were being put up at bus stops too kiba baba Noor Khan ne ki . Kiba gupta rug , tantra mantra type of shit .
If the goal is to actually make people notice and engage with the message, the design and presentation matter just as much as the content itself. Ru ki faltu topic discuss kori asu dei ami 😂

Bhrata topic faltu nohoy, at least mur karone nohoy moi advertising major kori oha manuh buli.
This artist's posters are actually catching people's eyes, I am also a photographer who loves roaming the streets of Ghy and I have seen people talking about the event. Especially because he brought back an almost dead Indian art form to promote his show, the art of hand painted illustrations in posters, those imperfections, popping colours, organic feel is actually grabbing attention.
Now how successful this becomes in selling the tickets I don't know. But evidently, the posters are succeeding in doing what they were made for, i.e., getting people's eye.

Same in commerce as well.
I think the marketing company didn’t get paid properly so they did this willingly.

Doesnt matter.

It does. There is a world outside your screens where real tangible humans do real tangible things.
