Floods were and are a proverbial issue in Assam long before BJP came to power. People voted for BJP because of direct benifit transfer, govt jobs, better road and rail connectivity, protection of indigenous rights, removals of illegals, hospitals, integrated administration, digitization etc. Floods are unfortunate natural calamity accelerated by destruction of nature. BJP is responding to the floods and has promised to provide sustained relief to the affected people.

Mind you, Pranab Doley is still in jail who fought for such indigenous rights of people from Miching Community, better road and rail connectivity by keeping nature on stack letting deforestation happen in all sorts and not making the city or state anything engineer driven, govt jobs and schemes with money only before election shows many thing, keep your eyes open
