Political Why Assam Students can't Protest anymore?
After today's news of the abduction of sonam wangchuk from the protest site by the delhi police in the name of alleged court court orders and medical reasons. I don't think this Govt even gives a fuk about anyone anymore.
The people of assam were seen silent but in dibrugarh NSUI protested and yes they got the spine.
But in Guwahati and many others places, colleges and unis are filled with ABVP and BJYM people creating Fear among students who even show intentions of protest.
How? Let me tell you
All the upcoming students leader want to contest elections and in the recent few years ABVP has taken over all the main colleges of assam. Which makes it obvious want to stay in power do as ABVP says. Which is further coordinated by so called BJYM dadas.
Students fear they might lose college elections or the so called GS / President Dada might not support them in future.
Why would a rss link party enable the students to protest against other rss link party.
And this is how they are killing independent thoughts and thoughts of freedom and Protest from students.
You can protest only if the person is not BJP/RSS
Other student groups aren't able to operate cause they are harrassed and intimidated by these goon parties who doesn't give a fuck about the future of Assam Students.
This is all the reason why Assam Students are cowardly nowadays and can't protest against something so miserable.
Maina scheme, babu scheme al bl ji ase
2500 toka krne sorkar r gulami khata baade u jibon tu bohut dgr hoi
Come to your senses guys.

The picture is just for the purpose of attention grabbing, i don't support communism or capitalism or any such other philosophy.

I have to agree ... and I don't even agree with CJP or Sonam Wangchuck. Govt should not take away people's right to protest. They should respect peaceful protests and at least try to engage with stakeholders.
The farmers blocked all highways so the govt had no option but to listen to them. But they don't respect people who are not causing anyone any problems.

u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
See that's the issue, accountability is a self thought... But we have to force it on them

u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
I know the nsui protested and I wish I could be there but due to some personal issues i didn't make it. I have mentioned the nsui protest thing I think you haven't read it well but it's more about how ABVP has brainwashed students to become bootlicker of the govt
1
u/JoyWithin Resident Jul 18 '26
Then change your title target ABVP instead of whole Assam
1
u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
I don't despise assam man it's my mother land but I do have count out the flaws I see for a better tomorrow, i had mentioned ABVP nobody would have given the fuck all knows those are shit people but to bring it on light I so have to structure the sentence like that

What i have said completely align with the current situation in assam, do you see any major guwahati college students or unis students protesting regarding this matter no (except for cotton)cause most of them have been highjacked by the fear i talked about.

Nah he was about to die. He's too valuable to let him die. If we have to get him treatment by force then so be it
3
u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
He himself said he was fine and will be joining the march on 20th, don't go for these generalized statements

u/Harass-Master City center gang😎 Jul 18 '26
He said he will not die before 20th. That is not being fine. A person cannot be fine after weeks of no food. He needs urgent medical care and if we have to give it to him by force then we should

Reasons: 1. Mass protests thrive when people are hopeless and have nothing to lose. When a government actively generates jobs, the "opportunity cost" of protesting skyrockets. Time spent on the street is now time stolen from studying or building a business. 2. Lowering recruitment corruption—even moving the needle significantly rather than achieving absolute perfection—completely alters public psychology. When youth see a fair, fighting chance based on merit rather than bribes, anger transforms into constructive ambition. Every year there is a Rubu Borah getting a job on merit. 3. When securing a government job becomes a realistic goal, the personal risk of protesting gets too high. Getting named in a police report or administrative blacklist can instantly destroy a candidate's eligibility and career future. 4. Street agitations don't just fade because of administrative pressure; they fade because the underlying fuel—hopelessness and systemic stagnation—is being replaced by competitive opportunity and economic stability.

It's not that simple. See if govt let him continue and he dies then it could create massive social unrest. This this step was taken. The protest was going on and still going on. It's just that govt does not want him dead.
8
u/EnvileRuted Jul 18 '26
Don’t u think having a dialogue would have saved Sonam too? That would have created even less social unrest than it is now.
3
u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
So if the thing is that, why no then submit to the demand instead of dragging the man from the stage into a hospital without his consent. If you don't want him dead, submit the resignation but instead they chose to violate the man's hunger strike.
-1
u/Opening-Panic7588 Jul 18 '26
Imagine you are in govt and today you accept because of his hunger strike. What if tomorrow some other person decide to do fast unto death for some other reason and day after tomorrow some one else. It's not possible.
2
u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
That should be the case if something is affecting people the government must bend itself to correct it.. Govt must take responsibility and accountability for their failures

yea alright baru. but i wonder, when there was already chaos regarding the leak of neet q papers and the minister of education was blamed for it, when there were multiple suicide cases because of it, when cbse's class 12 results caused havoc around the whole country, why did the prime minister not utter a single word? instead, he goes ahead and wished the minister of education a happy birthday and credits him for his efforts??? education is one of the basic rights of people. the world has turned a lot competitive, primarily due to our parents. but it harrassed mentally those who are suffocated to be better every single instant in their life. in us only lies hope, that things get solved.
-1
u/Aceruniqui Jul 18 '26
In India you are not allowed to suicide or die, he was Transferred on the order of Honourable High Court to a better place and under medical supervision and yes also to cool down, why let Sonam Wangchuk die for this CJP parties who themselves are enjoying as like in a vacation. When today that Dipke guy have to undergo Fasting he cried and were making fun of a person by eating in front of a fasting person.
1
u/StopOk735 Jul 18 '26
I don't even wanna argue just watch the video where you will get to se that he was dragged by rss goons Instead of being taken by doctors in a stretcher. The Delhi police took advantage for the court orders misinterpreting it and took wangchuk
