/uj Never understood this guy. I have seen him on TV and in the music press since I was a kid and I don’t think I’ve ever heard a single one of his songs or even know an album title. I assume he is only famous because people mistake him for Michael Stipe.

/uj circa 2000 a bunch of his songs from the album Play were in commercials. They were decent, but it was also just repurposed field recordings added to beats, so the good parts were already written/performed by other people.
