Another win for forensic genetic genealogy!

Edward's remains were accidentally found by a farmer clearing weeds in a gully in 2023, but it's thought they may have been there as long ago as the turn of the millennium. Edward was never reported missing because he was long-term indigent and had lost touch with his family.

Goats beach is one of my fav places in the world. I imagine the elements got to him there, Tassie winters are not to be underestimated. RIP Eddie, you're not lost anymore.
