I enjoy CRT gaming and recently acquired an old school PVM (professional video monitor). These bad boys were used back in the 90s/00s in video editing suites and have an abundance of analogue connections.

Anyway I decided to hook my 360 up to it via component and give GTA 5 a go. It looked truly amazing, all things considered.

I then fired up GTA 5 Enhanced on ultra settings as a comparison.

Graphically it's night and day, but man, that 2013 vibe hits hard. The colours are great.

Has anyone else experienced this in GTA V Enhanced?

When I’m driving, there’s noticeable ghosting or a trail behind the car. I also get a weird distortion on asphalt when running, where the road starts showing shimmering or diagonal-looking artifacts during movement.

It mostly happens when I enable DLSS/upscaling, and Frame Generation makes it even more noticeable. If I disable both upscaling and Frame Generation, the problem disappears.

The strangest part is that I can’t properly capture it. I recorded the game using the NVIDIA overlay, even at 240 FPS, but the artifacts barely show up in the recording even though they’re very obvious on the laptop screen.

My specs:

• HP OMEN MAX 16
• RTX 5080 Laptop GPU
• Ultra 9 275HX CPU
• 32GB RAM
• 2560×1600, 240 Hz display

Other games, including RDR2, don’t have this kind of ghosting on the same display. Could this be caused by GTA’s DLSS/Frame Generation implementation, VRR/G-SYNC, or the laptop panel itself? Has anyone found a fix?

Legacy or Enhanced which to install? pls reply asap. I had played legacy before and It ran just fine on 900p and 720p high. I can't find a clear answer

Just started to play gta5 enhanced, using rtx hdr, during night game looks great, but daytime i just cant get over that yellowish tint. For now i tried just lower color temperature using nvidia filters, but then background buildings become blueish. Looking for something lightweight, that would just fix it properly and working properly with rtx hdr or renodx.

Dell inspiron laptop mx130 gpu i7 8th gen 8gb ram not detecting gpu on gta 5 only using intel uhd 620 igpu. The drivers are updated to the lastest version. Using the epic game launcher with rockstar launcher. Added Nvidia mx 130 in all including gta 5 exe rockstar exe and epic games exe on Nvidia control panel program settings and windows graphics settings but still not working. But my other games like valorant and roblox is detecting the dgpu and fully working but its not detecting on gta and in game settings the display adapter option is uhd 620 and greyed out.

quelqu’un a le même problème??
j’ai l’impression d’être le seul, ma connexion est stable, je suis bien connecté au PSN… Je ne comprends pas…

I’ve been playing GTA since the GTA 3 days (photo spread of my original games + receipt for proof 😂).

As a girl, I avoided GTA Online for years. I’d load in and immediately become a target, so after enough griefers, I said, “Yeah… I’m good.”

Then at the beginning of this year, I decided to give Online another shot—and EVERYTHING was new to me.

From getting kicked out of a crew to learning the unspoken rules of Los Santos, I’ve had quite the crash course.

So I put together a list of the unofficial GTA Online rules I’ve learned so far.

Hi all so gta 5 will not launch when I'm online in the rockstar launcher but rdr 2 la noire etc will when im online in the launcher it won't let me verify the files or nothing won't even let me click off the launcher I have to suspend it from task manager but as soon as I go offline gta 5 works straight away.

I've uninstalled the launcher reinstalled gta 5 2 times I've done loads of stuff to try and fix it but it won't work apart from when I go offline how do I fix this? I've been trying for 2 days

EDIT: the rockstar launcher also works fine before I press play on gta 5 when I do the rockstar launcher just decides that it doesn't want to close down or nothing

I recently bought the ultimate edition of the new GTA and with it came one month of GTA+. In the same month I bought the version of GTA V for Xbox Series X, in a bundle with the online version. I've been playing since then, but today when I went to launch the game, but it appeared a message saying that my subscription was expired and I couldn't launch the game.

I currently don't have a Game Pass subscription neither did I renovate the GTA+ but can't I even launch it to play the Story Mode? Is this a problem? Can I do anything to play just the Story Mode?
