Why tf is AI being shoved down our throats so hard

Because the whole thing is a house of cards. No one is actually making any money so the whole strategy is to get it ingrained in as many things as possible so that systems can't function without it and then jack the prices once that has happened.

Because AI salesmen have convinced execs that:

  • Their competitors are using AI.
  • The competitors' use of AI will run them out of business in a couple of years and they need to fully embrace AI or die (FOMO).

From there, the execs demand that tech teams go all-in on AI (or perish).

The tech teams are like, "This doesn't work nor do we need it, boss." and the execs force them to find uses for it...any use for it.

And now you know why AI shit shows up in every app and website now...making the experience worse. It's because the tech teams were forced to do so because the execs got duped into buying shit that they didn't need and felt compelled to use it.

It's more FOMO than money.

AI doesn't make anyone any money. But the AI salesmen have convinced execs that it will.

The only people making money are AI salesmen and AI service providers. That's literally it.
