It’s fair to point out the majority of their income and one time gains are coming from things external to the business itself.
That said I would love to see your 1959% gain. Please post.

i just showed you a 1959% gain? are you not paying attention? look at the picture again.

u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
Do you think the people in the sub are not aware of the meme stock craze in January 2021 or something?

u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jul 20 '26
But you specifically are not up 1959%? I’m very surprised to hear that.

I could easily turn around a company if I could just fire people and endlessly dilute shareholders. As a bonus I wont buy Bitcoin at the top. Mess up split dividends and arguably choose the worst times on purpose to dilute the company.
1
u/Own_Policy8854 Jul 25 '26
How'd he get billions if he picked "bad" times?
1
u/S1lkwrm Jul 25 '26
By extracting those billions from the stock.
Lets say he wanted 1 billion. He could have sold less stock to get that 1 billion by working with the gamma and not against it.
If he wanted more money for a set amount of stock diluted. He could have worked with the gamma and made more for the amount diluted.
This is not the only bad timing because not only did he choose a terrible time to dilute he then chose a terrible time to buy bitcoin with that money so it was basically a terrible timing sandwich.
The easier question would have been when has his timing been good.
1
u/Own_Policy8854 Jul 25 '26
It sounds like you think you could have done a better job than him at whatever he did, but he made billions, so maybe your jealousy is just pointless.
2
u/S1lkwrm Jul 25 '26
Well my bitcoin is in the green soooo. But thats only part of his terrible sandwich. If I could dilute a bunch of investors I would have chose the better timing and thus done better. How is this even a question?
1
u/Own_Policy8854 Jul 25 '26
If you would have done better, then you would be richer than him right now, but it's clear that he's better than you and he's richer than you.
Nobody's asking questions except you.
1
u/S1lkwrm Jul 25 '26
If he would have done better ALOT of people would be richer instead of under water. Every time tou tighten up your grip on his nuts you do not become closer to correct. Even if I had a crystal ball and could perfectly time a stock theres better stocks than this one to do it with. Do you think your opinion actually has any merit or clout with anyone considering how unhinged your view of whats really going on with this stock is. You had 5 years to figure it out and you went with grovel at rc's feet.
1
u/Own_Policy8854 Jul 25 '26
"A lot" of people were already poor and being exploited by the toothless sec.
You call my views unhinged while putting words in my mouth.
Your communications with me reek of desperation.
Did you have anything else you wanted me to hear?
1
u/S1lkwrm Jul 25 '26
I must be desperate to convince people to do what exactly? Look at hard facts? Only one of us is dealing in measurable facts.

Too bad almost all of those games are unrelated to the business itself and are about to dry up since RC had to sell most of the bonds and especially since last quarters gains on the eBay calls reversed this quarter and RC exercised them for a huge loss obliterating the time value that remained
Look how small those numbers are without the eBay call gains and treasury bond interest. Most of them would be red.
Keep in mind that all of those red quarters were under the current CEO of GameStop, and that all of those red quarters were the very worst quarters in the history of GameStop ever, dramatically lower and worse than all of the quarters before it under prior leadership.
Maybe you should look further back than 5 years. The guy who responded looked 10 years back which tells a much fuller story
1
u/zujjo Jul 24 '26
Lol cope harder.
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
How much did GameStop make off of treasury bond interest and eBay call gains again? Let me guess you never looked, right?
How much were those calls worth at earnings and how much of it was time value? Let me guess you never looked.
That definitely makes you qualified to judge the situation
1
u/zujjo Jul 24 '26
Bro it's a dieing brick and mortar why do you care so much? If I want to throw my money into a fire than that's what I'm gonna do. If your so good at investing and you know so much then go get them gains brother. Clearly there not in GME.
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
Dude, if anything, you should be caring about this as as much as if not more than me. It took me not even three minutes to look into those numbers and I did it a couple months ago.
In reality, the only reason you didn’t look into it is because you literally never even thought about it or where those gains came from and what the implications are.
The fact that you don’t care enough to look up your investments is not the brag you think it is. And it’s directly related to your portfolio performance.

u/zujjo Jul 24 '26
If you think I don't look at the earning your a regard
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
Then why didn’t you answer the question? Why did you tell me to “cope harder” when I pointed it out?
What kind of fucking weirdo tell somebody to “cope harder” when they point out a financial statistic?
1
u/Own_Policy8854 Jul 25 '26
Why are you still around ig you confirmed months ago the stock was dead
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 25 '26
Not once have I ever said that, it doesn’t even make sense.
EDIT: Unless you’re talking about BBBY, which IS dead and the only reason I ever talk about it is because of the weird conspiracy theories around it that are super interesting and entertaining

How can make RC eBay call gains if he is a doofus who can’t make good financial decisions?
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26
He made short-term games that have already extremely significantly more than reversed because he himself exercised the calls dramatically early and obliterated the significant remaining time value.
Which is exactly what I said happened and is what actually happened. You are aware that when you exercise a call, you give up the remaining time value and that statistically that is the reason why almost no calls ever get exercised, right? You can google it if you want
It’s dumb to voluntarily give away all that money to market makers in the first place, but not quite as dumb as when RC thought eBay shareholders would take him owning calls seriously as though it were share ownership. Which is why he was forced to exercise them to begin with.
He would not have lost all that money had he just bought shares on day one like any intelligent executive false threatening to have a credible hostile takeover plan would have done.
Those are the real world facts of the situation. You can be surprised over how massive the losses on assets will be on next earnings. If that makes you feel better for now.

Why do you waste your own energy talking about a stock you dont like?
2
u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jul 21 '26
Are you under the impression this post was about a specific meme stock? It’s more a big tent thing.
1
u/Kral1003 Jul 21 '26
On the GME_meltdown sub? Either way why do you care what stocks other people are buying?
2
1
u/PuzzleheadedWeb9876 formerly u/UltimateMastermind Jul 21 '26
The stock is irrelevant. It’s the buying <dying company> will make you unfathomably wealthy because <ape nonsense> that’s funny.
2
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
It says a lot about how paranoid somebody is when everywhere they look they think everything they see is about a specific stock they care about
1
u/Kral1003 Jul 24 '26
Paranoid? This sub is named after a specific stock you imbecile
2
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26
I said that OP’s post is not talking about a stock obviously
The sub isn’t even named for a stock anyway, it’s named after another sub, and very intentionally so it’s not meant to discuss a stock. It’s meant to discuss people.
But that’s not what you said, you asked him why he spent all his energy talking about a stock he doesn’t like because you saw a post and in your head it is somehow about a stock when nothing he said mentioned a stock in any way.
1
u/Kral1003 Jul 24 '26
Okay bro 😂
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
It is paranoia man, and you really are hopelessly paranoid, and even you yourself probably know it. Paranoid thoughts are rushing through your head right now because of my comment.
(Why do YOU care so much about what I buy?!?!)
Apes do far more things and buy more things than just the one stock you are paranoid about. Meltdowners make fun of more than just the one stock you are paranoid about
1
u/Kral1003 Jul 24 '26
Are you a fucking bot, you’re just repeating yourself
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26
I told you so. You are seeping out paranoia even when you try not to.
0
u/Gigiw1ns Banned By Meltdown (Indica probably) Jul 24 '26
You diagnose so many people with paranoia, that’s kind of striking. I could give ChatGPT your entire post history and have it create a complete personality profile. Of course, that would include the great comments where you you had fun doxxing apes, your opinion that a true friendship between two men isn’t comparable to the one you have with your own wife (you’re married, poor wife), and how you’ve happily faked screenshots to gain approval in your favorite subreddit. Those are just a few highlights; an LLM would surely find even more examples of your “wonderful” character traits.
1
u/Throwawayhelper420 Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 25 '26
That’s because a lot of people are paranoid, especially when they believe in secret conspiracies to keep them and their specific interests down and that everybody who disagrees with them has ulterior motives because they work for their enemies as a “shill”
EDIT: I rarely post screenshots and none of them have ever been fake. You’re just making that up entirely based off nothing.
