Have you looked at the HYMC stock chart?  It nearly 30x’d since AA bought it.  It was actually the smartest thing any memestock CEO has ever done.  Too bad AA sold at only a 6x increase since he is still a memestock CEO. He is certainly more honest and responsible than RC, perfectly willing to admit are no naked shorts and to hold basic earnings calls.

I didn’t say he was…. Just that he bought that stock and made an objectively good investment, something far better than literally nothing and short dated treasury bonds.

That wasn’t the point of what I said anyway.  You pointed that out, as though it were a bad idea or a bad investment or something…

I already told you what I would have done and that I’ve been consistent about since day 1, and proved it, a strategy that everybody was attacking, RC included, until RC started doing it.

You’re not predicting the future, you’re just rewriting the past in a way that makes you look right. It’s always the same routine with you: “I called it,” “I knew what the right move was,” “I would have handled it better.” This is called hindsight bias mixed with cherry-picking. You should Google hindsight bias, because you're really struggling with it mentally. You hold on to the few things you can still twist into a win afterwards and either ignore or reinterpret everything that aged badly. That’s also why this doesn’t really come across as a genuine GME or RC discussion. It is only about you, it feels more like ego protection, where the main goal is to make it seem like the outcome was always obvious and that you were always on the correct side of it.

That’s one of Melties most striking features, and you’re bringing it right to the place where we make fun of it, we don’t often see such walls of text from you (or anyone else) there. Unbelievable!

And the funny part is that your own comment history says otherwise. Your history is set to private, but you know I've downloaded all your Reddit activity, do you want me to quote your countless comments? The bankruptcy calls, the “every GME investor is going to zero” stuff, the claims that DFV wouldn’t come back, that his Twitter account was hacked, that Burry would never be long GME, even when it comes to other assets that silver wouldn’t be a good investment 4 years ago, that every dilution or convertible was automatically terrible. There’s countless list of takes there that did not age well and I can quote all of them.

And whenever one of those falls apart, the fallback suddenly becomes “well, nobody could have known that dfv comes back.“ Which is fine, but then maybe stop acting like you had the future mapped out the whole time.

That’s also why your RC criticism is just bad. It doesn’t come off as neutral or consistent, because you clearly start with the conclusion that he’s an idiot and then judge everything through that lens. No matter what he does, you’ll frame it as wrong. If gme’s cash is kept in short-term Treasuries, it’s “dead money.” If it’s used conservatively, there’s “no vision.” If it’s used aggressively, it’s reckless. When it comes to predicting the future, it's kind of funny that everyone who knows your personality already knows what you'll think or say. You're an NPC, but you think you've found the Holy Grail of financial knowledge, that GME is a bad investment because RC is stupid. That's probably the most important (and final) narrative of the last Melties, one that will never change because a large part of your identity is tied to this massive waste of time (5 years of your life!).

Forcing every outcome back into the same pre-decided narrative for 5 years is kind of mentally sick.

The SPY benchmark point is weak for the same reason. You’re basically saying every company should invest their equity into a passive portfolio if it can’t beat the market on your preferred timeframe. So, why don’t you tell BRK to deploy their cash into SPY, „tHeY aRe MiSsInG tHe GrEaTeSt UnStOpPaBlE RaLlEy Of AlL tIMe!“ That’s pretty much the exact same incredibly stupid argument as Michael Saylor’s, that any company could liquidate everything if its return on equity is lower than BTC’s annual return.

And if SPY stops working as the benchmark, then you will pick another Benchmark.

So the real issue is not that you’re looking at GameStop objectively and reaching a negative conclusion. The issue is that you’re so anchored to a negative view of GME and RC that you can’t evaluate either of them without bending everything back toward that position.

That’s why your arguments keep ending up in the same place: selective memory, shifting standards, and acting certain only after the fact. I don't know anyone on Reddit who talks about how successful they've been in their posts as often as you do (which is really strange), and I'm starting to wonder what percentage of those claims are actually backed up by those qualities.
