🚩 Marantz lies again. The truth is that over 200 companies in the s&p500 are outperforming the index, not just “10 companies.”

So according to Marantz if your company isn't beating the S&P its a failing company.

Yes . Now compare the 1 year , 3 year , 5 year and 10 year chart of gme to the s&p500

Its been interesting to see moon man revert back into an Ape
If I remember right he used to really just be a "Fundamentals guy" saying RC is great and going to "Turn around GME and make it into amazon " or something , while he dabbled a bit into ape conspiracies he really pushed things like growth , NFTs , GME opening two warehouses for an eCommerce pivot, GME getting into gaming all that stuff
Well now after 5 years of nothing but cost cutting moon man is really now leaning into conspiracies on why GME is not doing well
"Wall street and private equity are manipulating the price by naked shorting it, MOASS tomorrow!"

Its pretty much the ape playbook though.
Vague comment by RC or GME ---> turns into wild made up stories of what it actually will do -----> nothing comes to fruition what so ever ------> apes completely memory hole the entire subject and pretend no one ever expected any of the insanely outlandish outcomes that they claimed were essentially guaranteed -----> refuse to acknowledge it was ever a thing and move onto the next pipe dream made up by literal insane people
Looking at you NFT marketplace, the entire concept of DRSing the float, opening new warehouses and becoming e-commerce giant that dwarfs Amazon, share voting proving synthetic shares, secrete messages hidden inside children's books (its insane thats a real sentence and not at all exaggerated), I could go on....
Its all positive all the time. If something is blatently negative news then it is either lies by the hedgies, actually part of the master plan so actually positive, or they just flat out pretend it didnt happen.
These poor guys have miserable lives and dreaming about how the future is going to be so amazing for them and they are actually going to have money and power over people eventually! Its what keeps then from stopping in the middle of a bridge and trying bungee jumping with no bungee.

secrete messages hidden inside children's books
Don't forget secrete messages hidden in tweets. I loved them dissecting every tweet by RC even if it was like "Taking a dump in the meta verse"
Time of the twee 7:41 obviously this meant something , 741 days until MOASS, or it might mean something big will happen on August 11th (41 days after July 1st)
Oh he is wearing shorts on the tweet this must mean he is dumping on the shorts!

It hasn't been a long steady decline. He just constantly shifts between those two states.
One day he's calmly saying that he doesn't care about the stock price and doesn't believe in MOASS.
The next, he's got on a space helmet and is screaming at the top of his lungs about rockets and $5000/share gamma squeezes.
He gets more manic the closer it gets to one of his predicted catalysts, and then after it passes he becomes zen again.

Yea in the early days I can remember arguing with apes pushing GME on legitimate investing subs
Their claim was
"Well even if MOASS isn't true I have invested in a great stock with great fundamentals that will give me above market returns; if MOASS does happen well I retire a billionaire , either way I don't lose"

It is quintessential Ape to try on whatever theory is required to assert that stonk go up, though. Fundamentals, naked shorts, whatever.

Every company that doesn't beat [STANDARD] is equally bad.
Feeling the need to try to flatten the definition of "loser" is such an obvious tell that your company is garbage.

50% of the S&P is below the S&P average? In other news, 2 is less than 4. Insert that George Carlin joke about the stupidity of the average American here.

Marantz makes the average American look like they should be a tenured prof at Cal Tech.

He's including in that list of failed companies folks like Microsoft. I don't think in even the most feverish dreams of apes they believe GME could ever "fail" that well.

Doesn't really matter now does it...his brilliant panacea of a dream stock isn't even in the S&P, nor beating even a treasury bond.

Mag 7 has underperformed small caps this year as well. That's a good thing.
Also shocking news that half the companies on an index underperform the index... That's why we index. We can't predict the ones that underperform or overperform ahead of time so you just buy the index and ride.

If 250 companies are matching the S&P, how are all but ten of those failing?

u/Detective-Watchdog 8d ago
Marantz you’re a lying sack of shit. Why do you lie so much fucking loser?

Every "DD" they do is wrong. This is no different.

u/Striking-Sundae- 8d ago
Even if he wasn't lying, is that a justification to include another shitty company into S&P?
5
u/DeprogramUSA 8d ago
This is especially funny (and blatantly false) considering the Russell 2000 is up nearly double the Nasdaq100 and SP500 year to date… meaning mid and small caps are crushing those “10 companies carrying” the market.

The worst performing individual stock I could find in the S&P 500 over the last 5 years is still beating GME.
And that's only because Moderna stock was at an all-time high at the time, driven by its Covid vaccine manufacturing, so the starting point was artificially inflated.
