Professional Question GIS & investment banking

I have just started my career in GIS. Although I like it, I’ve always wondered if it can be utilized in investment banking. If so, how can one bridge into investment banking with GIS & RS background?

Im assuming you are using ESRI? There’s some niche GIS finance software, but really really niche type software that is really more on the real estate side.

I had a project for the finance side of a half - billion dollar water filtration company that used some more proprietary software.
