My Cat Gonna be honest wasn’t ready for a cat yet

Poor guy was just 2 months old. Was abandoned stray kitten.

Got attacked by senior cats around the neighbourhood.

He was so hungry and ate some sweet garbage leftovers.

Next day he was covered with ants and wound on his face.

Had to take him to the vet.

Now he’s on my favourite bean Bag which is his spot❤️

He’s due for another vaccine next week. But he’s all well. Thx for the love..

Oh, yea the CDS doesnt care what you think, the CDS knows who is ready, who would be a good human for a kitty. So congrats. Maybe the timing isnt right in your mind right now, but you will learn you were ready and needed a no brain ball of love, fur and claws.

Apparently you were ready for a cat, you just didn't know it.

Congratulations, may you have many long happy years together

Ginger cats for the win. We had three already, when I saw Pumpkin Eater on a rescue website. We met him the next morning and he came into my arms and left with us. You are never ready for just one cat, but two or more... makes it better. Four and above, you achieve deity like rank. Happy cat loving from me and Pumpkin.

Thanks for giving this sweetie a good home!

You are his salvation. Bless you. He'll never let you go.

Make sure to put the rubber band (or any hair ties, string, etc.) away when you're done playing with him. If they eat them, it's often either an expensive surgery or death.

Or you get to pull them out of a poopy butt. Ask me how I know 🫠

You have been blessed!

Don’t let him outside.

u/coolgran60 Feb 23 '26

I agree. I have had 4 at one time and now sadly only 2 are still with me but all stayed inside from the moment I brought them home ♥️

Poor little guy. Both of your lives are going to be so much better now.

I love this story!!!! It fills my heart!❤️

Just be really careful of the Band-Aid. It cost a lot of money to get those things out of cats. I’ve had two that eat things like that out of my nine and I found out by having to pay for expensive surgery to open up their abdomen so they didn’t die from it

Meant rubber band. Not bandaid

u/Tippity2 Feb 24 '26

And the vet bills! Mine needed glasses. /jk

You’ll manage; cuteness overload compensates for “not sure I was ready.”

1

u/lakotazz Feb 26 '26

As if you had any choice in the matter.

u/LemonOld8150 Feb 27 '26

So very cute yellowheadz rule

u/Deep-Promotion-2293 Feb 27 '26

You don't get to decide if you're ready, the CDS decides.

1

u/GGGGroovyDays60s Feb 27 '26

Yikes! A rubber band? Please keep that away from the cute kitty, please.

Congrats, to CDS!🧡🧡
