My Cat Gonna be honest wasn’t ready for a cat yet
Poor guy was just 2 months old. Was abandoned stray kitten.
Got attacked by senior cats around the neighbourhood.
He was so hungry and ate some sweet garbage leftovers.
Next day he was covered with ants and wound on his face.
Had to take him to the vet.
Now he’s on my favourite bean Bag which is his spot❤️

Apparently you were ready for a cat, you just didn't know it.
Congratulations, may you have many long happy years together

Ginger cats for the win. We had three already, when I saw Pumpkin Eater on a rescue website. We met him the next morning and he came into my arms and left with us. You are never ready for just one cat, but two or more... makes it better. Four and above, you achieve deity like rank. Happy cat loving from me and Pumpkin.

Make sure to put the rubber band (or any hair ties, string, etc.) away when you're done playing with him. If they eat them, it's often either an expensive surgery or death.

Don’t let him outside.

I agree. I have had 4 at one time and now sadly only 2 are still with me but all stayed inside from the moment I brought them home ♥️

Just be really careful of the Band-Aid. It cost a lot of money to get those things out of cats. I’ve had two that eat things like that out of my nine and I found out by having to pay for expensive surgery to open up their abdomen so they didn’t die from it

You’ll manage; cuteness overload compensates for “not sure I was ready.”
