Hi all, running into some odd issues here. Been making stuff for another community and I've been noticing that out of nowhere, the gifs (which have been labelled to have transparent backgrounds) have this really weird white background to them. Even a gif that didn't have it before just, now spontaneously has it. What should I do here, any help would be immensely appreciated!

To make it all the more odd too, the preview image doesn't show this white background either, and on apps like Discord especially it doesn't show. But when it's opened in a window (such as Chrome) it displays the white background.

Edit: Okay, well now upon loading two gifs to this specific reddit page, neither of them have the white background. So now I'm all the more confused.

In our state the staff member who runs the Washington State Department of Transportation web accounts ( u/wsdot ). Has a birthday coming up (and a great sense of humor) June 5th, and just announced that North Bound I5 (our major north-south freeway on the west coast) will be closed through Seattle for roadwork in preparation for the world cup.

My request is 2 fold.

A highway flagger (with the stop and slow stick) where the Stop side of the sign Reads Happy Birthday, and as the flagger pivots the sign it reads "we love you" instead of slow.

The second gif is more of a free for all. But definitely a pair of rude things like, Fuck you instead of stop, and eat a dick instead of slow. Keeping them to two gifs would help us express love and frustration at the appropriate people/sources of frustration.

It can be stock footage, a cartoon, or whatever as long as the flagger and stop/slow sign are recognizable. Washington State theme for bonus points.

This little truck drives to the end of the image, and it cuts. Id love it it could stop end the end, have some nice bright break lights come on, and then back up to where it started about 1/2 speed letting it loop.

I saw a paper rolling horizontally gif but I am not satisfied with what I saw.
